Treatments and Clinic

Find helpful information about our treatments, consultations, clinic experience, and what to expect before your appointment.

Where is Bebe’s Beauty located, and what are your opening hours?

Bebe’s Beauty is a private beauty and skin clinic located at 92 Robinson Road, Coatesville in Auckland.

Our clinic operates by appointment, so you can enjoy a calm, personal experience without feeling rushed. You can view our current availability through our online booking system, or you are always welcome to contact Julia directly if you need help finding a suitable time.

Do I need a consultation before booking a treatment?

Some treatments require a consultation first, particularly advanced skin treatments and injectables. This gives Julia an opportunity to understand your skin, discuss your goals and make sure the treatment is both safe and suitable for you.

If you are unsure whether you need a consultation, simply get in touch. We would much rather answer your questions and help you feel completely comfortable before booking.

How do I know which treatment is right for me?

You do not need to have it all figured out before you visit us. Every person’s skin is different, and the treatment that worked beautifully for a friend may not necessarily be the best choice for you.

As a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in skin and appearance medicine, Julia will take the time to assess your skin, listen to your concerns and recommend an option that suits your goals, lifestyle, budget and available recovery time.

If you are unsure where to begin, booking a consultation is the perfect first step.

What should I expect during my first appointment?

Your first appointment will begin with a relaxed conversation about your skin, your concerns, your current routine and what you would like to achieve.

Julia will explain the recommended treatment, what it involves, how your skin may feel afterwards and any aftercare you will need to follow. You will have plenty of time to ask questions, and nothing will be rushed or performed without your full understanding and consent.

How should I prepare for my treatment?

Preparation depends on the treatment you are having. When you book, we will let you know if there is anything specific you need to do beforehand.

As a general guide, please tell Julia about any medications, supplements, allergies, recent treatments or changes to your health. You may also need to pause certain active skincare ingredients before some treatments. If you are unsure, contact us before your appointment and we will guide you.

You can read more about our Pre-Care instructions here.

Is there any downtime after treatment?

This varies depending on the treatment and your individual skin response. Some treatments have little to no downtime, while others may cause temporary redness, sensitivity, swelling, flaking or bruising.

Julia will explain exactly what you can expect before your treatment so you can plan accordingly. You will also receive clear aftercare advice to help your skin heal and achieve the best possible result.

You can read more about our Post-Care instructions here.

Can I have a treatment while pregnant, breastfeeding or taking medication?

Some treatments and skincare ingredients are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and certain medications may affect which treatments are safe for you.

Please let Julia know if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive or taking any medication. We can then recommend the safest and most appropriate options for you. In some circumstances, we may also suggest checking with your doctor or specialist before proceeding.

Skincare Products and Orders

Find helpful information about choosing the right skincare products, placing an order, delivery, and what to do if you need assistance with your purchase.

How do I know which skincare products are right for my skin?

Choosing skincare can feel overwhelming, especially when there are so many products and active ingredients available. The best routine is not necessarily the one with the most products. It is the one that suits your skin and that you can use consistently.

Julia can help you select products based on your skin type, concerns, current routine and goals. If you are unsure, please reach out before ordering so we can help you make a confident choice.

Can Bebe’s Beauty help me create a personalised skincare routine?

Absolutely. Julia can help you build a simple, personalised routine using products suited to your skin, lifestyle and budget.

We stock a carefully selected range of professional skincare brands, including iS Clinical, Juvenate, SkinCo products, Pure Fiji and Aspect Minerals. We can also recommend supportive beauty and wellness products, including Gua Sha tools.

You do not need to replace everything at once. Julia can help you identify the most valuable products to begin with and show you how to introduce anything new safely.

Are Bebe’s Beauty skincare products suitable for sensitive or acne prone skin?

We have options suitable for many different skin types and concerns, including sensitive and acne prone skin. However, sensitive skin and acne can have many different causes, so we recommend asking Julia for guidance rather than choosing products based on the label alone.

She can help you avoid ingredients that may be too strong for your skin and create a routine that supports your skin barrier while addressing your concerns.

Can I use your skincare products after an in clinic treatment?

Yes, although the products you should use immediately afterwards will depend on the treatment you have received.

Your skin may be temporarily more sensitive following a facial, laser treatment, peel, Vivace treatment or microneedling. Julia will let you know which products to use, which ingredients to pause and when you can safely return to your usual routine.

Please follow your personalised aftercare advice rather than introducing anything new straight after treatment.

How should I introduce active skincare products into my routine?

Slowly and one at a time. Active ingredients can deliver beautiful results, but introducing too many at once can cause irritation and make it difficult to identify which product your skin is reacting to.

Begin with the frequency recommended by Julia and allow your skin time to adjust. More is not always better when it comes to active skincare. Consistency, patience and supporting your skin barrier are just as important.

Can I use products from different skincare brands together?

Yes, products from different brands can often work very well together. What matters most is the combination of ingredients and whether they are suitable for your skin.

Some active ingredients may be too irritating when layered or used on the same day. Julia can review your current products and help you create a routine that uses them safely and effectively.

How long should I use a skincare product before expecting visible results?

Some products can improve hydration, softness or radiance quite quickly, while concerns such as pigmentation, congestion, acne and fine lines usually require more time and consistency.

As a general guide, allow several weeks of regular use before assessing most products. More significant skin changes may take a few months. Results also depend on the product, your skin, your wider routine and how consistently you use it.

What should I do if my skin reacts to a product?

Stop using the product and return to a very simple, gentle routine until your skin settles. Avoid adding other active ingredients while your skin is irritated.

Please contact Julia and let her know which product you used, how often you used it and what reaction you experienced. If you develop significant swelling, difficulty breathing, severe pain or a rapidly worsening reaction, seek urgent medical advice.

Are the skincare products safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Not every skincare ingredient is recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. It is important to let us know if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive before beginning a new routine.

Julia can help you select appropriate products, and we may recommend checking particular ingredients with your midwife, doctor or specialist.

How should I store my skincare products, and how long do they last after opening?

Keep your skincare products tightly closed and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Avoid leaving them in a hot car or beside a sunny window.

The period after opening symbol on the packaging will usually show how many months the product should be used for once opened. If the texture, colour or scent changes noticeably, stop using it and contact us if you are unsure.

Do you deliver throughout New Zealand, and how long does shipping take?

Yes, we deliver skincare products throughout New Zealand. Orders are generally dispatched within 24 hours, with delivery usually taking 3-5 days depending on your location.

Rural deliveries may take a little longer. Once your order has been sent, you will receive a tracking number.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Please contact us as soon as possible and include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs of the product and packaging.

We will review everything promptly and work with you to put it right.

What should I do if a product causes a reaction?

Please stop using the product and contact Julia so we can understand what has happened and guide you on the next step. Keep the product and its packaging, as we may need the batch details.

For significant swelling, breathing difficulties or a severe or rapidly worsening reaction, please seek urgent medical advice.
